​Sea Pricing Representative

We are hiring for our offices in Piraeus a Sea Pricing Representative.

As a Sea Pricing Representative, you are responsible to support the sea freight procurement of company’s customers. Negotiate with shipping lines and the agents when needed and ensure the best pricing options for our sea freight service according to the predefined time frame. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment, where your hard work and dedication will be recognized and rewarded.

Job Description

• Provide rates to the sales team
• Inspect / Filter / Evaluate / Re-propose and send sales requests to the carriers
• Input pricelists to all the local systems
• Communicate with Sales team to get clarifications or provide notifications about the pricing decisions
• Priorities the quote requests, so that the best opportunities are responded to as quickly as possible
• Maintain and update the company’s rate database to ensure accuracy and consistency in pricing across different service offerings and geographic regions.
• Follow Sales team’s offers and evaluate the efficiency according to the initially requested price.
• Prepare statistics upon request.

General Qualifications

• At least bachelor’s degree in business/Shipping/Logistics Studies from reputable Universities, master’s degree would be an asset
• Computer literate
• Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
• Excellent negotiations skills
• Very good organizational skills
